Circuit Board Building Parts
Board, eyelets and lug
Circuit Board material
.125" = 1/8" Thick glass epoxy circuit board material.
3.125" = 3 1/8" wide, cut to your length x $.62 per linear inch.
Example: A 12 inch piece of board would be (12 inches X .62 = $ 7.44)
Shipping container lengths. Shipping container lengths are a problem for long pieces of
board.
The maximum board length I can ship to US customers is 36 inches by
priority mail.
The maximum length for international customers is 18 inches, if I
combine the board with other parts in one 18 inch box.
I have more shipping information on this page.
Shipping Information
The minimum board length I will cut is 6 inches.
The board is ripped into 3 1/8" x 4 foot long strips on a table saw.
The table saw leaves the edges a little rough.
The edges need some sanding in order to obtain a nice smooth finished
look.
I do not have any other width than 3 1/8" and I only sell the width
above. Note: All board is 3.125" wide x your
length
When you press the button below, you will be taken to a form where
you can enter your board lengths.
Sorry, out of stock.
I have some short pieces left in stock. Email me if you only need a couple short pieces
Board, eyelets and lug
Turret lugs
Plated Turret Lugs for the 1/8" thick circuit board material
above
Turret lugs are more expensive than an eyelet because they are a solid
piece of brass that is turned on a lathe type machine
Once the desired shape is there, the lugs are then sent to a plating
company and plated with a very nice coating so that they can be soldered
to.
Turret lug construction is much nicer than eyelet construction, IMO.
I have my turret lugs custom made for in batches of 100,000, these
are not off the shelf lugs.
Use the 3/32" drill bit below to drill the holes in your circuit board
and install the turret lugs.
Note: The lug and eyelet installation tool can be found below.
Go to this page to see how turret lugs are installed in a circuit
board and how parts are mounted.
Board, eyelets and lug
Tall Circuit board eyelets
Tall eyelets for the 1/8" thick circuit board above.
Eyelets as used on old Fender circuit boards.
You can use the pointy end of the turret lug tool below to flair out
your eyelets.
Use the 1/8" drill below to drill your circuit board for both eyelets
sizes.
Note on installation: The eyelet goes
into a hole on the board.
It sticks out past the back side of the board just a little.
You then swage or flair out the backside of the eyelet so that it
stays on the board.
Note: The lug and eyelet installation tool can be found below.
Board, eyelets and lug
Short Circuit board eyelets
Short eyelets for 1/16" thick circuit board.
Note: I do not stock 1/16" thick board.
Drill bits
Drill Bits
3/32" Drill bits for installing the turret lugs I sell.
1/8" Drill bits for installing the eyelets I sell.
3/16" Drill bits for drilling circuit board mounting holes.
Lug and Eye install tool
Turret lug and Eyelet installation tool.
This tool is also known as a staking
tool.
You can use just the pointy tool to install eyelets.

Standoffs
Aluminum standoffs with
threads 8-32 threads all the way through the center
lengths = 1/4, 1/2, 5/8, 3/4 and 1"
Note: I stock #8 hardware on the Screws/Nuts/Washers page
1/4" Round nylon standoffs #8 sized hole through the center, no threads
Note: I stock #8 hardware on the Screws/Nuts/Washers page
Terminal strips
3, 5, 6, 8 Lug terminal strips for custom circuit
construction. The mounting foot can also be used as a chassis grounding point.
3 and 5 have one ground/mounting foot
6 and 8 have two grounds/mounting feet
Use #6 hardware to bolt them down.
Note: I stock #6 hardware on the Screws/Nuts/Washers page
Board Mask and Drilling
Template
Hoffman Board drilling mask.
This is the tool that is used with the Drilling template
to make the Hoffman boards.
Available mask: 5E3, Stout, 5F6A,
Stout Reverb, 6G15 Reverb unit, Tore-T Revibe, Plexi-50, AB763, AC30
I have discontinued the drilling template and dropped
the prices on the mask.
I have a bunch of the mask still left in stock Go here to see how this tool is used.
The AB763 mask are all gone The Re-Vibe mask are all gone
Hoffman Board Drilling Template
The drilling template is the main tool that is used to make Hoffman
style boards.
It is a 1/4 inch thick piece of 6061 aircraft aluminum with over 500
holes drilled very precisely by a computer controlled milling machine.
It is 18 inches long x 3.125 inches wide. The same width as the circuit
board material I sell.
This is a very nice tool. It comes with two alignment pins.
You need different mask to make Hoffman style circuit boards.

Sorry, This tool has been
discontinued.
I have to order these in a large quantity from
a CNC shop.
It would cost several thousand dollars to have
another batch made.
Because of the current economy, I will not be
having another batch made.
If and when the economy ever turns around, I
may invest and have another more made.
